Olympia Weekend 2008 just became bigger, tougher and meaner with the return of the Olympia’s Sport Martial Arts Championships being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Featured again at the Olympia Weekend are the Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight categories of the Sport Martial Arts Championships; where title belts, reputations and cold hard cash are on the line. Rounding out the SMA Championship is the ever popular and exciting Submission Sports Grappling where over 100 athletes will try to grapple their way to Olympia glory!!!

Steve Cooper – Director of the SMAA states “The action is fast and furious as these amateur athletes try to show off their fighting skills to become the next 2008 Olympia Sport Martial Arts Champions. Each fighter knows that their reputation is on the line as they try to succeed in making it into the professional ranks. Two of last years Champions have turned pro and are enjoying great reputations in pro fighting.”

All this fast and exciting action is included with your entrance fee into the Olympia Expo but beware...you may experience the urge to scream, a rapid pulse, and extremely high levels of adrenalin while viewing the event!
