World’s Strongest Bodybuilder

Last year, Johnnie Jackson answered the question, “Who is the world’s strongest bodybuilder?” when he beat Ben White to capture the title at the inaugural Duel in the Desert: World's Strongest Bodybuilder Lift Off with a 523-pound bench press and 815-pound deadlift.

But that was ’09, and IFBB Pro League athlete Stan Efferding – who owns a raw total of 2,221 pounds (bench press, deadlift and squat) – has tossed himself into the mix, claiming he has no real challengers to the $20,000 cash prize. On numerous occasions, Efferding has called reigning champion Jackson and everyone else “scared.”

Is “The Rhino” right? Will anyone step up to battle him for the prestige of being the strongest bodybuilder in the world? Find out at Olympia Weekend 2010.
