ARMED & READY

Put your muscle to the test for great prizes – and bragging rights — in the 2007 Olympia Weekend “Battle of the Biceps” competition!

You’re strong. You’re fit. You’re a bona fide gym rat. Have we got the contest for you!  Men and women from around the country (and beyond) have stepped on stage during the biggest weekend in bodybuilding to prove who is the best of the best. It’s called the “Battle of the Biceps,” and it goes like this: Men curl 50 pounds on an EZ bar for reps, women 30 pounds, and can claim victory based on the number of curls performed, the size of their biceps, and the audience reaction they get for their efforts.

Last year, Alan Medina of Las Vegas was the men’s champ, with an amazing 90 reps, and Karen Garrett of Boston ruled the women’s category, with an extremely impressive 87 reps. Think you can beat that? Then what are you waiting for? Start training now for the event, to be held Olympia Weekend, September 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada. While you’re in town, you can be a part of bodybuilding’s most incredible weekend, which includes the Mr., Ms., Figure and Fitness Olympia competitions, and an incredible expo with hundreds of exhibitors representing the entire fitness industry.

On September 29 by 2 p.m., stop by the Weider Publications booth at the Expo to sign up, then get ready to vie for the grand prize — two VIP packages for the 2008 Olympia Weekend. (Just remember, you do need to be at least 18 years of age.) Don’t let someone else walk away with your reward and your share of glory!
