This year we have the honor of having Sonz of a Beast present their Helping Understand Mental Health And Normalizing Support (H.U.M.A.N.S.) panel at the Olympia Expo. The purpose of the movement is to remove the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and to educate men on recognizing signs of mental health challenges, and provide guidance on seeking appropriate help.
The main discussion takes place on the Expo Fest Stage several times throughout the weekend. Led by the team of Don Singleton, Flex Wheeler, Julius Maddox, and Midwest Kong; they bring experts and leaders from sports, business, and media to explain their journey and showcase ways to be your brother’s keeper. At their booth they are activating the Olympia community with a challenge. How much weight can we lift together, as together we are stronger.
