 The ring was built, the fighters arrived and the Olympia Sport Martial Arts Championship was underway! 16 skilled fighters…all competing for the largest prize money in the history of the Martial Arts Industry while the bragging rights to be called champion hung in the balance. And the winner was… Raymond Daniels!
Mr. Olympia is proud to announce that this years Sport Martial Arts Championship has added more fighters, more categories including Sport Grappling and even more prize money! Already Scheduled for September 2007 there will be 3 weight categories, as well as there will be weight breaks per category that will make up the final four of each title. The prize money is broken down as follows: Champion $5,000, runner up $1,500 and Semi finalists $500 each. This is for each of the three Champion weight classes; there will be a Lightweight, Middleweight and a Heavyweight Champion for 2007. That’s $7,500 for each weight group totaling $22,500 in cash prize money.
 The Sport Grappling event will also be a qualifying event for the Disney Martial Arts Festival in Orlando. Winners of the grappling divisions will win a spot in the finals for SMAA Sport Grappling held in October at the Disney Wide World of Sports. Is that enough action for Martial Artists?
